La Panchina sees the opportunity to overcome covid lockdown with the help of Social Marketing.

Client: La Panchina 

A central Italian pizza boutique pizzeria in Surry Hills, Sydney.

Campaign duration: 45 days 

Objective: Get calls and social media messages to increase seat bookings (Monday, Tuesday and  Sunday) 

Channels: Facebook and Instagram ads

About the campaign.

La Panchina is a great boutique pizza restaurant located right next to a park in Surry Hills. The Pizza is affordable, they have a wood fire oven, and the owner is Italian. They have amazing reviews on Google and Trip Advisor, so what could be holding them back?

The Challenge

COVID 19. The client was finding COVID 19 restrictions, and the lack of website was really affecting their conversions (especially calls).

Pulse agency set out to work within the parameters of the restrictions to increase the number of calls La Panchina received.

The Solution

 

We worked with the Surry Hills Creative Prescient and with @jimmywongeats (who took amazing photos and videos that we could edit). We created a comprehensive Facebook campaign using different creative angles, copies, and targeted audiences to incentivise the users to contact Lucca via phone calls and social messaging.

 

The campaign lasted 45 days.

The numbers that we used is the median to exclude the really high and low volumes and get the number of calls that sits in the middle for each day of the week.

Total average increase (Monday till Sunday): + 94, 23 % more calls. 

Average (Monday, Tuesday and Sundays): + 178.25% increase in calls.
